Echoes in Patina is a fashion campaign created in collaboration with MATTE Projects and designer Yay Zhou. Inspired by 90s Club Kid culture, Leigh Bowery, and Zhou dynasty bronzeware, the project explores ritual, rebellion, and performance. The photography contrasts sculptural bronze-inspired sets with harsh sunlight and nightlife energy in Atlanta’s Chinatown. The visual identity centers around a custom symbol combining the designer’s initials, rendered in a chrome metallic texture inspired by the their core aesthetic of ancient futurism. Branding applications range from billboards to 90s rave-inspired flyers and Chinese showreels.
